Return & Refund Policy

At Desert Dough & Designs, each order is created and packaged with care. Because many of our items are handmade, customized, or made to order, please review all product details and personalization information carefully before placing your order.

Custom & Personalized Items

Custom, personalized, and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Please double-check names, colors, sizes, design details, and other customization information before submitting your order. Desert Dough & Designs is not responsible for errors in information provided by the customer.

Ready-to-Ship Items

All ready-to-ship items are also final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Please review product descriptions, sizing information, photos, and other listing details carefully before completing your purchase.

Damaged During Shipping

If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 3 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the damaged item

  • Clear photos of the packaging and shipping box or mailer

  • Any additional photos showing the condition of the package when it arrived

The customer is responsible for filing a damage claim with USPS when applicable.

Please keep the damaged item and all original packaging until the claim has been completed, as USPS may request additional photos, documentation, or inspection.

Depending on the type and extent of the damage, the item may be repaired or replaced.

If the item must be returned for repair or replacement, the customer is responsible for shipping the item back to Desert Dough & Designs.

Handmade Items

Many Desert Dough & Designs products are handmade. Small variations in color, placement, finish, pattern, or design may occur as part of the handmade process.

These natural variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for a return or refund.

Cancellations

If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible.

Once work or production has begun on a custom or made-to-order item, the order cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.
